Disney Vacation Club has confirmed that additional villas and lakefront cabins are being added to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. These will be dubbed the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, a separate legal entity from the original Wilderness Lodge DVC component.
Opening date for the new villas is still unknown. Construction permits suggest work may continue well into 2018.

B. Based on the size of them I can easily see close to ,will be less but close to, poly per night point costs
I had the same thought about close proximity, but really that's the case with other similar accommodations. The beach cottages at Vero are right up against a common area walking path. The honeymoon cottages at the BoardWalk are in the middle of the resort near a pool.
These cabins probably won't have the physical separation of the Poly bungalows, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The pool will be fenced--probably along the yellow tape in the photo. I'm sure they'll build-up the landscaping around them once complete, too.
As beachclubdvc says, some of the cabins are quite close to the pool and restaurant building. But for some guests, that might be a preferred location.
The cabins shown in these photos are all located on the east side of the Wilderness resort, which is the same side as the existing DVC building. There will be 14 cabins on the east side. According to the plans, all of the cabins appear to be the same distance apart from one another and the lots for the first 8 cabins are about as long as the existing DVC building. That means that the last 6 cabins will be a bit of a walk away from the rest of the resort.
Some people may want privacy and request those further out cabins. But others may prefer being as close as possible to pool and other features.
There are some interesting photos and a possible confirmation of 1BRs or 2BRs are being included in the above link.
