MousePlanet.com has word on refurbishment work currently under way in the pool complex at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel.
According to MousePlanet.com:
...The Fountain pool area (including the Redwood slide) at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel is closed for refurbishment through March 20. The Mariposa pool area, which was added during the Disney Vacation Club expansion, remains open for the use of all hotel guests. Guests may also "pool hop" to the Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier Hotels—just check with the front desk.
