With the iconic Disneyland Hotel in the early phases of what is essentially a three year rebuild projects, could Disney Vacation Club villas be part of the long-term plan?  Al Lutz from MiceAge.com hears it is part of the plan.

Yesterland Looks at National Harbor Area

This week Disney shocked many by purchasing 15 acres of land earmarked for a 500 room hotel in Maryland's National Harbor just outside of Washington D.C. 

Werner Weiss of Yesterland.com has put assembled some wonderful information on the National Harbor development.  Included are history on the development, a look at where Disney's parcel is located and some speculation on what exactly Disney may have in mind for the property.

Wednesday's Orlando Sentinel published an article regarding Disney's recent purchase of 15 acres in Maryland's National Harbor development.  Disney has gone on record saying that the site will be home to approximately 500 guest rooms.  But will any of them be Disney Vacation Club villas?
