This particular refurbishment mainly impacts "soft goods" within the rooms, but some "hard goods" are also being addressed.  The most obvious changes include new linens, wall coverings, floor coverings and window coverings.  Coffee tables have been added to the BoardWalk Deluxe Studio villas for the first time.  Previously it stood-out as one of the few Disney Vacation Club properties to omit the coffee table.

The entertainment center has been replaced with the combination folding table / twin sleeper bed.  This unit pulls down to sleep a 5th guest in Deluxe Studio villas.  Larger flat panel televisions are being installed (approximately 50".)  The white armoire piece (left) provides clothing storage space to replace what was lost from the previous armoires.

Durable wood-finish laminate flooring is being installed in the high-traffic main entry area.

The bathroom vanity is updated with new lighting, fixtures and paint finishes, as well as the laminate flooring.

The "soft goods" modifications are earmarked for all room sizes and views at Disney's BoardWalk Villas.  Only Deluxe Studio rooms will receive the combination table / sleeper.  When the refurbishment is complete, expect Disney Vacation Club to update its reservation system to allow booking of 5 guests in alll Deluxe Studio rooms.

The resort-wide renovation project is expected to run through the end of 2015.
