Multiple sources are reporting that Disney Vacation Club has begun staffing a front desk at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort to handle guest arrivals.
According to a report at WDWMagic.com, the Bay Lake Tower front desk will be staffed between the hours of 7am - 10pm daily. Bay Lake Tower guests can use this location for check-ins, ticket purchases, dining reservations and other guest relations issues.
Previously all guest arrivals had been handled at the main lobby of Disney's Contemporary Resort. WDWMagic states that guests arriving via Disney's Magical Express will continue to use the Contemporary main lobby.
On-site guest reports provide differing information on the future of this front desk change. Some guests report being told that the change is only a trial while others claim Disney is finalizing plans to expand the front desk to accommodate more Cast Members on a permanent basis.
At this time Disney Vacation Club representatives have not responded to our requests for clarification.
