Where are the villa rooms located?

Disney Vacation Club villas are located on the 5th floor and 6th floors of Jambo House (the original Animal Kingdom Lodge building.)  Kidani Village is an entirely separate facility constructed in 2009.  All guest rooms at Kidani Village are DVC villas. 

What is a Value villa?

Value rooms are located in Jambo House only.

Rooms are about 3 feet shorter (316 sq. ft. for studios, and 629 sq. ft. for a one bedroom, and 945 sq. ft. for two bedroom) than non-Value villas at Jambo House.  The length difference is in the living/sleeping area in Deluxe Studio villas and the living area and master bedroom of the One Bedroom villas.

The kitchen / kitchenette and master bathrooms are the same size as the non-Value rooms in Jambo House. Value One and Two Bedroom villas do not have a sleeper chair these value units.

What is a Standard View villa?

Standard View villas at Kidani village may overlook the parking lot or Samawati Springs Pool.  There is also a section where the Pembe Savanna is extremely narrow which has been designated as Standard VIew. 

What is a Savanna View villa?

A Savanna View reservation guarantees guests will be able to view a savanna from their balcony. The savannas at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas have many species of animals native to Africa. Since the animals roam freely it varies on the number and species that will be visible at any given time.

Jambo House has three savannas:  Arusha Savanna, Uzima Savanna, and Sunset Savanna.

Kidani Village shares the Sunset Savanna and has views of the Pembe Savanna.

What is a Concierge villa?

Concierge level includes a private lounge with complimentary food available throughout the day.  Cast Members can help concierge guests with dining reservations and other vacation planning. 

Guests staying in a Concierge villa are able to book the Sunrise Safari and other exclusive experiences.

Concierge is only available in Jambo House. There are five Two Bedroom lockoff villas, representing a maximum of 10 villas (if every Two Bedroom lockoff is reserved separately as a One Bedroom and Deluxe Studio.)  This limited availability makes Concierge accommodations very difficult to reserve by non-owners at seven months. 

Where are the laundry facilities for Deluxe Studio villa guests?

In Jambo House, the laundry facilities are located on the 5th floor along the Zebra trail. A room key is required in order to access the laundry room.

At Kidani Village the laundry facilities are on the 2nd floor (lobby level) in the south wing, not far from the lobby, just past the arcade and community hall. It has two regular washers and one large high efficiency front loader and six dryers. Unlike Jambo House, guests do not need to use a key card to access the laundry room.

Where can I take my recyclables?

In Jambo House, just a few doors away from the laundry facilities is a room where you can take recyclables.

In Kidani Village trash/recycle facilities are located in the middle of each resort segment.

What is the difference between the room layouts at Kidani and Jambo?

Kidani Village One Bedroom villas are larger and have two bathrooms.  The master bath features a  separate tub and shower stall plus a closet.

Jambo House One Bedroom villas have a combined whirlpool tub and shower.  Kitchen layout varies from room to room.  Most villas have a wardrobe in the bedroom instead of a closet.

Can I request to be in Kidani Village or Jambo House?

Yes. Guests are booked into either Jambo House or Kidani Village at the time the reservation is secured.

Can I walk between the buildings?

Yes.  The Jambo House and Kidani Village entrances are approximately .5 mile apart.  The walk runs alongside both resorts' parking lots.  Directional signs are present to point the way. 

Are there bus stops at both buildings?

Yes.

Most buses stop at Kidani VIllage then Jambo House before proceeding to their final destination.  Downtown Disney buses visit Jambo House first, then Kidani Village

Where is parking at Kidani Village?

Kidani Village was constructed with the majority of its parking in a covered structure on what is the first floor of the resort.  Guest rooms begin on the second floor. 

Additional outdoor parking is also available.

How do recreational activities vary between Jambo and Kidani?
