WDW ticket price increase Sunday!

WDW Theme Park News

If you've been procrastinating over the purchase of your Walt Disney World theme park tickets, now is probably the time to make some decisions.

Multiple Disney websites and blogs are reporting that Walt Disney World theme park tickets will see a price increase effective Sunday, February 22, 2015.  Single day passes for the Magic Kingdom will reportedly rise to $105 plus tax with other theme parks settling at $99 for a day's entry.

Multi-day Magic Your Way passes, Annual Passes and most other admission media are also expected to see some increase in price.

While the extent of the price increases remains unknown, February 2014 adjustments resulted in a 3-4% increase in the cost of a DVC-discounted Annual Pass or Premium Annual Pass for the Florida theme parks.

Disney Vacation Club owners can purchase Annual Passes at discounted rates--in advance of the price increase--by visiting disneyworld.disney.go.com/passes/.  Members must log-in with a Disney username which is linked to their Disney Vacation Club account in order to see the discounted pricing.  Upon purchase, a voucher or will-call number will be issued for the ticket.  The effective period for the Annual Pass will not begin until the ticket is claimed at a Walt Disney World Guest Relations desk.

Reports also suggest that the "no expiration" option for Magic Your Way passes is being eliminated entirely as of 2/22.  Additionally single-day passes to the Disney waterparks will automatically gain a park hopper option, allowing guests to visit both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon on the same day.
