Earlier this year Disney Vacation Club removed glassware from resort Studio villas out of health concerns.  Some resorts have since had the glassware returned, and the others will soon follow.

The August 1, 2008 episode (number 443) of the WDWToday podcast features a disucssion of banking and borrowing of Disney Vacation Club points.  The discussion covers rules surrounding banking and borrowing points, how to make small contracts work to your advantage via the banking and borrowing priviledges and reallocating points to different reservations.

About two weeks ago Disney Vacation Club altered its procedures such that members can now book trips 11 and 7 months in advance of their arrival date rather than 11/7 months before their departure date.  Aside from a brief statement posted to DCMember.com, few details have been published regarding these changes.  Now we have a bit more clarification from DVC.

The Disney Vacation Club is all set to begin accepting reservations for the Animal Kingdom Villas' Kidani Village facility.  Reservations will be accepted for check-in dates beginning May 1, 2009.  AKV owners may begin calling to book Kidani Village on August 10, 2008 with non-owners following 7 months in advance of their arrival date.
