Disney Vacation Club's hurricane policy is currently in effect, allowing for very liberal changes to upcoming reservations.  Owners are currently permitted to cancel reservations to Walt Disney World resorts, Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort and Disney's Vero Beach Resort anytime prior to arrival with no penalty.

Due to the extended closure at Member Services, members are advised to cancel their reservation on-line and follow-up with an email which includes the owner's name, ID number and reason for the cancellation / request.  When normal operations resume, DVC will remove the Holding Account restriction from any trips cancelled due to the hurricane.

Guests currently on-site at Walt Disney World wishing to either depart early or extend their stay should consult with the resort front desk.

Additional details regarding these procedures can be found on the DVC website.

The Hilton Head and Vero resorts are currently closed.  After the hurricane has passed, staff members will evaluate the condition of the property and begin the process of determining when they may resume operations.  Guests with upcoming reservations should have been contacted by DVC in order to discuss the situation.  Those who have not been contacted are advised to reach out to Member Services beginning on Tuesday.
