The 2007 Condo Association Meetings began at 11am eastern today. The DISBoards' WebmasterDoc attended the meetings and posted near-realtime reports via his Blackberry. The meetings revealed a number of new benefits for DVC members in 2008.
Among the program enhancements announced, the most popular change is likely to be the addition of free high-speed Internet service for DVC Members. Beginning in 2008, members staying on points will receive free in-room high-speed service for the duration of their stay. This change is a perk exclusive to DVC as cash guests will still be subject to the $9.95 daily fee.
DVC also announced changes to Member Services hours. Beginning December 30th, Member Services will be open 9am to 5:30pm (Eastern) on Monday through Friday. Service will expand further on February 3, 2008 when Member Services begins to operate 7 days per week with the same 9am - 5:30pm schedule.
