Disney Vacation Club members can now begin making reservations for the free after-hours party in September.
Registration is now open for the two Moonlight Magic events at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. In order to claim a spot during this initial registration period, members must have a confirmed Disney resort reservation for the night of the event. On Friday June 30 at 9am Eastern, reservations will open to all DVC members including those who do not have hotel reservations.
Members staying at a Disney hotel can book a spot for themselves and the entire party listed on their resort reservation. Those without reservations can claim a spot for themselves plus 5 named guests. Reservations are limited and walk-ins will not be permitted. A Disney Vacation Club member ID and photo ID must be presented upon arrival. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The events are scheduled for the nights of Wednesday, September 6 and Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Registered attendees and their guests will receive complimentary access to the Disney theme park; paid park admission is not required. Select theme park attractions will be open including Pandora - The World of Avatar, Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids, DINOSAUR and more. There will also be an exclusive showing of Rivers of Light.
Free refreshments will be provided along with character meet-and-greet opportunities, a DJ dance party and more.
Participants can enter the park as early as 7:00pm. The exclusive party is scheduled to begin at 9:30pm and run until 1:00am.
This will be the third Moonlight Magic theme park exclusive offered to Disney Vacation Club members in 2017 following two nights at the Magic Kingdom in February & March and four nights at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon in June & July. Additional events are scheduled for later this year at Disneyland and Epcot.
