Silver Creek Springs pool at Disney's Wilderness Lodge has been added to the list of resort swimming holes which are exlcuded from the DVC member pool hopping perk.

During most of the year, members staying at Walt Disney World resorts have been permitted to use pools at other resorts.  Certain resort pools are excluded from this perks.  For many years, the list of restricted pools was limited to Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts and Uzima Pool at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  However, over the last decade many other resort pools have been added to the restricted list.  The full list of ineligible pools is currently:

  • Bay Cove Pool; Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort
  • Uzima Pool and Samawati Springs Poll; Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
  • Stormalong Bay; Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts
  • Leisure pool; Disney's Beach Club Villas
  • Lava Pool and leisure pool; Disney's Polynesian Village Resort
  • Silver Creek Springs Pool; Disney's Wilderness Lodge
  • All resort pools; Disney's Art of Animation Resort

The Hidden Springs leisure pool at Disney's Wilderness Lodge was demolished back in 2015 as part of a resort-wide renovation project which will bring additional Disney Vacation Club villas to the property.  Plans call for an additional pool to be added at the Wilderness Lodge.

Pool hopping is current blocked-out at all Walt Disney World pools.  Hopping can resume beginning on July 10, 2016.  The next pool hopping blockout periods runs from September 2 - 5, 2016 over the Labor Day holiday weekend.
