Saratoga Springs again leads Sharket resale rankings

Sharket tracks timeshare ownership transfers and calculates a proprietary 'Saleability Score' based upon factors which include demand for the property and average selling price.  Resorts are assigned a score of 0-10 with a 10 suggesting that owners looking to sell their timeshare interest can anticipate that it will "sell quickly and for a higher than average price."

After compiling data over a 2-year period ending December 2015, Sharket assigned perfect 10 ratings to seven timeshares, with six of those seven being Disney Vacation Club properties.  Among the properties receiving a Saleability Score of 10 are:

  1. Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
  2. Disney’s Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
  3. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas
  4. Disney’s Old Key West Resort
  5. Disney’s Boardwalk Villas
  6. Disney’s Beach Club Villas
  7. Marriott's Grande Vista

Other DVC resorts fell short of earning a perfect score but still placed highly in the Sharket rankings.  The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge (8th highest rank overall) Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa (9th) and Disney's Vero Beach Resort (13th) all received Saleability Scores of 9.

The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (22nd) and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa (23rd) scored an 8 out of 10 for their saleability.

Grand Californian resales were singled out for making significant gains compared to the prior year's rankings wile Grand Floridian and Aulani resales showed a decline in price.
