Disney Vacation Club's latest webcast is a charming look at the Aulani resort in Hawaii, but lacks any payoff for potential buyers.

The latest Samatha Brown webcast is a wonderful overview of Aulani, Disney Vacation Club Villas in Ko Olina, Hawaii. Disney fans who fondly remember Brown's "Great Hotels" series for the Travel Channel will appreciate this look at Disney's Oahu hotel and timeshare.
The webcast's intial focus falls on recent enhancements to the resort. Despite the resort's relative youth--it opened to the public in August 2011--Disney moved quickly to address guest concerns including lack of pool capacity and quick service dining.
In the fall of 2013, Disney unveiled the expanded pool dubbed Ka Maka Grotto, Keiki Grove kids splash zone, Ulu Cafe and a number of new features. These enhacements are all showcased, presumably to assuage the fears of potential guests and reassure prior guests & owners whose complaints prompted the renovations.
But the webcast does not focus solely upon the recent changes. Most aspects of the property are showcased including all villa sizes--from Deluxe Studio up to an ocean view Three Bedroom Grand Villa--the Wanilai Spa, Aunty's Beach House, pool facilities, dining options and more.
Even destinations outside of Disney property receive some attention with Brown making a visit to the nearby Ko Olina Golf Club.
The webcast also includes requisite mention of other Disney Vacation Club destinations including Disney theme park resorts, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney and more.
Eligible viewers can be entered into a drawing for 3 years' use of 160 Disney Vacation Club points. Note that sweepstakes entry requires viewers to answer 3 trivia questions at the conclusion of the webcast, so be sure to pay attention. Brown does a good job of giving viewers a heads-up during the webcast when revealing details relevant to the sweepstakes entry.
Unfortunately Disney Vacation Club does not appear to be offering any added purchase incentives to viewers of the webcast. The promotional deal featured includes a set of one-time-use Developer's Points equal to the number of DVC points purchased / added (i.e. add 150 points and receive 150 additional points to be used one time.)
Fine print indicates that the points must be used for a single reservation completed by September 30, 2015. Use of the Developer's Points also appears to be restricted to Aulani only.
