I went to the DVC site and logged in and found the new special rates but no news of a discount for renewals?
Just after the prices went up at both WDW and DLR last May, our passes expired and we thought we were going to have to pay the new $970/pp. They allowed us to renew at the old $849 price. Now the discount.
I feel like the Mouse has heard my request.
Now if they could somehow figure out how to make the two parks synchronize so the Premier will actually work without guest services when you change coasts. My guess it will work itself out with Magic+ settling in.
Hopefully that will work from the the get go
We arrive Feb 4th in 2015, so the offer is no good for us, as activating by Jan 31st will not be possible.
Hopefully there will be another offer like this later in the year.
