Someday I will do that Quest for the West. I just can't take that many days in a row at this time in my life.

I was surprised that two of the three offers are adults only trips. And then I was more confused because the cost per points shows the cost for adults and the cost for children.
I have to admit that both of the Enchanted China and Sacred Valleys and Incan Cities look really good. But the China trip point cost is almost double the cost in comparison to the other two trips. And I'm not sure when we'll have a spare 1800+ points, though.

I don't know how you would ever pay for any Adventure by Disney trip by points, they just cost so much. We have 340 points and it wouldn't even cover one person on some of the trips.
I know these trips are fantastic and I would love to go on one but they are just so expensive. I just don't see it happening.

I have to agree. I keep thinking that ABD probably does an excellent job, but the cost is hair raising.

Well, the problem with Adventures by Disney and the DCL is that you can pay cash for those trips for a lots less then you can rent you points out for.
The other thing about using points is that you get the points put into reservation status if you cancel... ie the points cannot be used for DVC anymore the minute it is put in there.
Finally, you get charged a $95 exchange fee.. I think... so the disadvantages build up quickly.
The best "adventure" you can use the points for is Aulani...Hawaii is one of those places everyone dreams about.. but now you can just use your points and go there!! and the resort is fantastic!!

I agree with you, David in what you posted above. Some of the ABD trips are so point expensive that I'm not sure we'd have enough points in a couple of years to pay for even one of us to travel with ABD. We're booked for Aulani in September. I expect that we will visit Aulani rarely because of the cost of getting there is pretty expensive too.
