My wife and I first went down to WDW for our one year wedding anniversary in 2010. We stayed at the contemprary with a MK view. Absolutely loved it. We did the DVC tour mainly for the 100$ gift card. But at that time there was no way we could afford it. So the next year, 2011, we got a real good deal at a moderate resort and I liked it but it was nothing compared to the contemporary. So we went on the DVC tour again(thanks to aloha Joe(if any of you are familiar with him)). It turned out to be a perfect storm of reasons to buy when we went on the tour. SSR was at $99 a point, I was longing for a nicer, larger room, and we could really sit there and figure out that with one or two more trips down to the world we could have more then paid for a DVC membership and it is also really cool to walk into any DVC resort and get that tingly feeling when they say "welcome home". Funny thing is not even tw weeks after we got back from the trip we have a center not too far from where we live and our first case of addonitis struck. Now we are booked on a cruise in august and 7 nights at the THV's in January '13 hoping at 7 months to change to a MK view at BLT. Also becoming a member introduced me to all you fine folks and this awesome board.
