I just made an offer on a BLT resale contract through Fidelity.
I offered asking- $90pp for 40 point August UY. Buyer pays closing, full points in 2013 and later. So $4k out the door @ $100 net pp; 47 years of points yields an effective cost per point per year of just under $2.13.
With those my membership (including 170 pts funded & used by my parents) will total 456 points; nice to have an assecnding numeric sequence. I can dig out other patterns as well for my future state: 1 membership with 2 contracts each on 3 resorts; 4 total resorts comined to 456 points, and 7 total contracts...
Hopefully it will go smoothly for us!!!

It's kinda stripped since we are still in 2011 August UY and no points until 2013 on it- I think is strongly influancing the price. It may also be a motivated seller for whatever reason. Fidelity said they thought it should pass ROFR at that price so I'm good with trying it. It would have been hard to offer more than the asking price; everyone always wants a deal!

Contract went to the Mouse March 5th so they played their 30 days down to the wire. We'll see how long it takes for closing paperwork to get to me & then go through...
