Hope you will all forgive me for this but JetBlue has finally opened booking through October, which I thought would be great but the have eliminated direct flights from Dulles Airport, Washington, DC. Now if you want to get to Orlando you have to fly to Boston or New York and pay twice as much. To be fair there is another option - fly out of National which for people in the area is fine but I live in West Virginia and it is a pain to get there, don't get me started on parking UGH. I have 75,000 points this was suppose to be our free flight for the whole family.

    Thanks for listening

SW isn't much better - swear they're taking the luggage costs onto their regular fares

I noticed the same thing. We're planning a trip in October and looked into flying down instead of driving. Usually Jet Blue would be our first choice because of the direct flights out of Dulles but those are now non-existant.
    We'll be driving down.

Jet Blue does have direct flights out of National and United has flights from Dulles and uniteds price is closeto Jet Blue which I find pleasantly surprising. Since I am giving up my frequent flyer for Jet Blue. Have a great trip no matter how you get there

Since there are 3 of us going from here now the cost of driving will be less than the price of flying. At the lowest price we can find it would cost at least $600 to fly.

    Thanks!
