I don't know the legalities of the resale game, but it would seem to me that the $500.00 deposite should make your agreement binding.

Honestly, I don't know. Broker has been less than informative. Since it's still early in the process and we have not bought resale before, who knows? I do know that there was an offer that was rejected. Someone offered $45 pp and sellers paid closing costs. Owners wanted $60. Apparently we were the high bidders, paying closing and reimbursing 2012 MFs. WE signed our contract and put down $500 deposit. How binding is that? Could be that it might be a divorce, estate, probate or foreign owners. Won't know until they tell us.
