A few extra points

Will end this year, August, with 6 extra points we cannot bank. Anybody have a suggestion on what to do with them? We have an idea of some type of contest to give them away, but maybe there is a way to use them that I do not know about. Let me know your thoughts

Can you add an extra night to an existing reservation? Could supplement any shortage with a points purchase.

6 pts may not be enough for an extra night, but you can "rent" up to 25 more from DVC if you need to.

I don't think there is any way to use them without just booking a night. If you cannot bank them, my guess is that they are already borrowed or banked. If that is the case, you won't be able to transfer them to another member.

I suppose if it comes down to use or lose, you can book a couple nights at VGC (which looks like your home resort) and then rent the reservation out to someone, or post it on mouseowners on their rent/trade board. It would be easy to get $9-$10/per point if you choose to do that.

I'd add a night on and buy the one time use points to make up the difference or borrow from next year's points. I would absolutely hate to lose any points.

You can use your once a year point transfer and transfer those six points to a friend or relative. But they'd be giving up their once a year transfer too for a really small number of points.

We were in the same situation this year there was nothing to do but lose the extra points -gee I hated that

Kind of thought I would not have many options. I hate to loose them, but still have a few months to figure something out. Will need to work on my points allocation better. Just bought another 100 at VGC so now I have more chances of visits and working out the numbers so I do not have any extra points. I do not have any family members or friends that I know of that are DVC so looks like you all might be the recipients of points if I cannot figure something out. Any takers I should be on the wait list!?!
