Copyright issue

I heard this on the news this morning; the story, apparently shown last night on WFTV Ch 9 here in Orlando, discusses how a Lake County couple who run a party clown business, purchased 2 costumes on Ebay of Pooh characters and advertised them on their web site, etc for party hire.

If they had sent the costumes to Disney, it probably would have ended this. Sounds like Disney either wants to guarantee that these people no longer has the costumes and/or wants to go after the people who created the costumes. I can understand them wanting to get their money back, but now how much is it going to cost them trying to fight The Mouse? (And really, which eBay seller is going to refund $700 weeks or months later on the basis of "Disney told me I can't perform publicly in your costumes?")

Aweeee.... but she cried on TV and she's a minority and she has children..... Disney is just so mean. Come on... you can't expect a small business to understand the law. I mean, like ..sob sob.. nobody understands that copyright thingy..... we're just trying to scratch out a meager living.

i bought it from ABC distributing about a year or so ago. they may or may not have it in stock. You could always go to one of those pottery sotres and make one....
but have it say "I see stupid people" that sounds much better.....

Has anybody ever seen Jeff Dunham , he is a vantriloquist and has a character named Walter. Well Walter calls everybody Dumb Rears. My DW and I when we something like this say there is another Walter award receipiant. I mean if you are going to do something this stupid don't do it in there on "Yard"

I just took a phone call on one of our old shopping centers. The lady asked if we owned it to which I replied we sold it approximately a year ago. She asked who owns it now. To which I replied Kroger (which is a BIG grocery store chain for those of you that might not knoiw it) to which she replied "good" and hung up.

That lawsuit is gonna be fun for them.
