Worldfanatic's doing the hula!

After "intense" negotiations with the better half, I've finally booked our first trip to Aulani.

I had to promise to stay out of Walt Disney World in 2012.
Although she loves WDW, she's ready for a "year off".

I agreed to it, so 2012 will be the first year since 2005 that we won't be making a trip to Florida.

But that's OK, because we've got a WDW trip coming up next month, and the 18-22 month period away after that will make the 2013 trip that much more special.
At least that's what I'm telling myself.

The "payoff" though is that this morning I booked a Poolside Gardens Studio at Aulani for June 2 (my birthday) - June 9, 2012.

I'm very excited!!!
The place looks amazing and in just 7 short months I'll be there!!

Yep, I wanted the Poolside Gardens View, and it was available.
As a "people watcher", I think that's the place to be.

That's the view we are hoping for in September 2012. We're counting down the days until the 7 month mark.

A wishin' and a hoping' we get that view.

That's awesome! I hope to make it to Aulani one day! They're really pushing it hard at WDW right now, and it looks gorgeous in the promotional stuff!

Our kids are so excited to see the resort, and Hawaii. We can't wait to get back too. DW and I had been before the kids joined us. I love it there.
