How does DVCNews get a copy of "Disney Files" so much sooner than others? It will probably be another week before we get our copy.

I wonder if Disney Files mentions that Aulani is a DVC resort as well as a Disney cash resort? Only one article I've read since the resort opened mentioned the DVC and that was the USA Today. A few said TS but not the name Disney Vacation Club. Before Disney always made sure that the full name was mentioned to get some free advertising and peak some interest.

I think it's pretty clear that the Aulani timeshare situation impacted Disney Files, too. The only two articles about Aulani were the "speaking Aulani" story and the Joe Rohde Q&A. Four pages out of the entire mag.

I understand that the ceremonial grand opening is still a week away (my invite must have gotten lost in the mail ) but I expected something much grander for the member mag. They certainly could have gotten impressive photos of the near-complete building in time for this publication...particularly since they obviously held up printing to include a Claire Bilby intro.
