That is very pretty. I can't wait to see the math, if it really is DVC.

Could this be the Grand Floridian Villas? –

An image was forwarded to DVCNews.com which appears to be pretty much what one would expect from a Disney Vacation Club villa wing at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

if it is a DVC, how long before sales typically start? I can see the family wanting an add on here, need a little more time to pay off current membership

Of course, we still don't know that this expansion at GF is a DVC project. And it would depend if the addition includes remodel rooms at GF in addition to the new wing. If there are rooms that are remodeled (as rumors are suggesting) sales could open within a couple months or if it's only the new wing that might be a DVC resort, then it would probably be a year from first construction, when comparing it to BLT's timeline.

I agree on all accounts!
I don't have the $$$ right now but I'd love some more points either at VWL or BLT because we are discussing a BIG GV trip in 10 years for my parent's 50th anniversary; if I get 40 or 50 pts now w/ strategic use, banking, & borrowing I could swing the GV by then & still do my normal trips as well. However, VGF might be an interesting alternative for some "regular" trips...

Here is my take....Four Seasons will be gearing up soon. I think Disney knows that it can not compete head-to-head with the Four Seasons near property, yet associated with Disney. They are going to lose a percentage to the new hotel, so why not sell to DVC.
There is a plus side for adding DVC units to Grand Floridian for Disney. The cost savings by having DVC members pay for staff and amenities at the Grand Floridian, which currently is paid 100% by Disney.
