I do have "Black Magic Woman" by Santana, some Temptations, "Living for the City" by Stevie Wonder, "We are Family" by Sister Sledge, "Living in the Past" by Jethro Yull, then "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga, just to make me feel young, throwing in a little recent music.

    Also on my playlist:

    Build me up Buttercup
    Mony Mony
I Won't Back Down (Tom Petty)
People got to be Free (rascals)
    Chain of fools
    Respect
    Good Vibrations
    Allentown (billy J)
Angry Young Man (another billy j)
    One Way or Another (Blondie)
Old Time Rock and Roll (bob seger)
    Summer of 69
    Illuminations soundtrack
    Sherry (4 Seasons)
    Reach out (4 tops)
    Me and Bobby Mcgee
Come a little bit Closer (jay and the americans)
this Magic Moment (also Jay and the americans)
Is She REally going Out with Him? (joe jackson)
    I can SEe Clearly Now
    One Two Three (Len Barry)
    Heatwave
    Dancin in the Streets
Working My Way Back to You
A Good Feeling to KNow (poco)
    We Are the Champions
Amie (fallin in and out of love with you)
    I wanna be Sedated (ramones)
    Hit the Road Jack
    Photograph (Ringo)
    Let It Bleed
    You Got It (orbison)
Dance to the Music (sly and the family stone)
Expressway to Your heart (soul survivors)
Gimme some Lovin (spencer davis group)
    More Today than Yesterday
Mama Told me Not to Come
    Joy to the World
    Lonely too Long (rascals)

And of course most any of the upbeat Beatles songs are great to walk to.

    HTH!

Dorothy, I pretty much love all genres of music but here's a list of my favorite walking/treadmill music:
    In no particular order:
    Some good Aerosmith-
    Dude (looks like a lady)
    Love in an elevator
    Sweet emotions
    Walk this way

    Crazy in love by beyonce

Living on a prayer by bon jovi

Lady antebellum's Love don't live here anymore & Lookin' for a good time

Little Big Town's Fine line & Good as gone

Maroon 5's Makes me wonder & Harder to breathe

Heart's Barracuda, Crazy on You, Kick It Out, Magic Man

Kelly Clarkson's Since you been gone & Walk away

Rascall Flat's Bob that head & Life is a highway

AND BEST SONGS EVER: by STYX
    Lady
Too much time on my hands
    Blue collar man

I'd like to also put in a plug for audiobooks! In addition to regular reads, there's some performance-based recording out there which are quite entertaining. Just something else to keep it interesting for you!

We have to request Buttercup next time we go to Jellyrolls!

It's the Tommy James version. Is that good or bad in the eyes of The Viking?

I like both versions, leaning a bit towards Tommy J.

I like them both too, but Billy's sneer always annoyed me.

Hi! I am new to Disney vacation club forum. I just wanted to say a lot of these suggestions are working out great. I walk with my headphones on constantly and the upbeat songs really help with motivation.
