    Disney Vacation Club has updated its discount programs for all active resorts. The most noteworthy development lies in the fact that both current members and new buyers can still get the $130 base price for points at the Bay Lake Tower--with discounts of up to $18 per point.

    Oh man! that would be sweet if I could afford DVC right now. lol! but My only question is how many points is needed to get the
    -$18 discount? that way it would cost $112/point! but I think it's still cheaper to buy resale anyways... trying to see what I do in the near future.

    sorry I'm just basically talking to myself. lol!

    It looks like it's 320 points to get an $18 discount. I would think that buying resale might be the way to go as long as you only plan to use your points for DVC vacations, considering the changes with resale points purchased after March 20th.

    320 points!!!!! OUCH! what changes are being made to resale points that are purchased after march 20th?
