This thread discusses the Content article: FEATURE: A Day at the BoardWalk, Part Two

You brought back one of my all-time favorite WDW memories. We arrived at 2 am for our honey moon. It was my firsttrip to WDW. We stayed at BWI in sept, teh first year it opened. DH adn I were just amazed as we walked in. We instantly felt at home, alhtough dh kept saying, \"Are you sure we already paid for this?\" lol. I was instantly hooked before we stepped into a park.

The funniest thing is that we saw teh DVC signs all teh time staying there. I kept thinking of how rich you must have to be to be a DVC member.

Also, we al;ways see teh coolest birds walking to MGM. Love that!

    Thansk agin Mar\'.

A great retelling of the kind of day you can spend at our favorite (home) resort! We also usually split a day between EPCOT and the Studios.

    Just FYI -
The Elephant building featured in the BW lobby is still in existence in Margate, NJ - not Atlantic City. (It\'s just 2 towns over and there are often fundraising efforts going on to keep \"Lucy the Elephant\" alive and well as a historical building.)

Thanks for making me feels homesick for our favorite DVC \"home.\"

As Margate is only a couple of miles from Atlantic City I guess I used a little poetic license in my story. And yes, from what I have read the elephant is still \"alive\" but it\'s no longer used as a hotel. If Jigger or anyone else wants to read more here is the official site:

Thanks for the update abc, and it\'s always nice to meet another BWV person!

November (except for Thanksgiving week) is one of my favorite times to visit WDW DG. Unless you\'re really unlucky the weather will be great and the crowds low. Looking forward to hearing about all about it.
