As the new year quickly approaches, 2011 annual dues balances have made an appearance on DVCMember.com.

Does Disney or Orange County send out some sort of statement showing ad valorem Taxes paid in 2010?

Your 2011 dues statement has a section that says what the actual taxes paid for 2010 were. For most resorts it was pretty close to what the estimates were. I don't believe a separate statement is sent beyond that.

I’m just wondering what I give to my accountant to prepare my taxes at the end of the year? Do I just give him some print out from a website or is there an official ad valorem statement from the county?

I think just the printout from the website or a copy of your actual dues statement once the paper one is mailed to you is what you would provide.

You could always contact member accounting if he/she requires some other document, but again I've never heard of anybody getting something from the county either directly or indirectly.

There is no Federal form to show property taxes paid. You would only need the 2011 statement that shows the Actual 2010 Property Tax amount(s).

Form 1098 is for Mortgage Interest paid. Other than the annual statement, there is nothing else mailed out for property taxes paid.
