Certainly an option but it takes a while unless you're lucky enough to catch a boat that's just about to leave. You also will have to stop at Swalphin first. If the OP is up for a day at Epcot, that seems like the easiest park to access BCV from. (BTW you CAN walk to BCV from DHS, it's not that bad if you like walking, about 20 minutes. Of course since you mentioned having a little one you'd need a stroller, it's a long walk for short legs )

Is there a place for me to go that lists the abbreviations for me!!!
AK = Animal Kingdom (probably should be either AKL or AKV as AK could mean the Theme Park)
DHS = Disney's Hollywood Studios (was Disney MGM Studios)
MNSSHP = Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

    Tink- What Jax said...

Mar- True enough on possibly taking a while. My parents frequently do 3 night trips and occasionally do a split stay. They travel only with carry-ons and Disney transportation, so moving their 2 bags with them on a Disney boat or bus is their typical plan after checkout from resort 1 on their way to #2. That way they have immediate access to their stuff, especially since they usually only do 1 day in the parks and it may or may not be move day...

Disney lets them take carry on luggage on the boat and the bus? Do they have actual rolling suitcases, or are they only traveling with bags that can be picked up by hand?

No, not roller bags- usually just a fairly small duffel bag each; maybe 3 total. Not really any larger than a backpack or large souvenir bag you might have with you in the parks from what they tell me... They travel light! Running shorts & shoes are the key ingredient for them; anything else they can take or leave.

When we've done split stays, we've taken a taxi. In fact on one trip we did the Animal Kingdom Lodge to Beach Club. I believe it was in the $15 range including tip.

I've done the split stay between AKV and BCV several times. To me that's the perfect split. Last time, I was going to AKV second, so I just walked into Epcot and after lunch at Coral Reef, I boarded the bus to AKV, Bell Services took care of the luggage transfer for me. Just be aware that if you do that, they don't guarantee you to get your luggage until after 3:00.

We did a split last november from SSR to BLT. We had bell services move everything for us. In the morning we headed out check out other resorts and had a late lunch at the whispering canyon. Then we took a boat to the contemporary and checked in. Our stuff was waiting for us.
This trip we start at BLT then to SSR then off to HHI and finally back to BWV.
