So here I sit, drinking my coffee and watching the local real estate TV show. I'm such a junkie for that show! Hey, there's one in Indigo Run that overlooks the golf course. Guy would like that. And it's only $1.2 million dollars. I've got the door open to the balcony because the weather's so nice. It's supposed to be warm, in the 70s, sunny, most of the week. Just the possibility of a few showers on Thanksgiving, I hope they hold off until after the Turkey Trot road race in the morning. Ate at Captain Woody's for dinner last night. Delicious, as usual. Guy's off golfing at the Robert Trent Jones course. After he's back and done with his "Training run", we'll go have lunch, then maybe miniature golf, bird-watch, or hot tub. What to do-such a dilema! Just as we checked in yesterday, the CM came out with the cranberry nut cookies-such a welcome! Any questions? Oh, yes-we're currently in #1135, a studio, switching to a 1 BR later today.

Sounds like you are having fun! Just last month we were in #1137, the one-bedroom that is attached to your studio. How are the crowds at HHI? Is the resort at full capacity?

Hope you remembered to pack your camera. Looking forward to seeing some photos of HHI!

Sounds like heaven Dorothy! Tell Guy good luck in the race and do report back and let us know how he did.

Yes, that's where we are now-#1137. Of 8 stays at HHI, this is the fourth time we've had this villa. It truly feels like "Welcome home!" The resort is supposedly at capacity this week, but we haven't really noticed it yet. Crowds on the island so far seem non-existent. We had lunch at Roastfish and Cornbread, and were one of around 4 tables. Wednesday Guy picks up his race packet for the Turkey Trot. He must be old-he was told he gets some computer chip to wear in his shoe, I guess so that they know he doesn't go off course, etc. Computer chip? Last time he ran a race, they didn't even have those!

    I Love your post.
We are going to be there in January. It will be our first visit and we are looking forward to it. After reading your posts we are even most excited about going.
I looked up "Roastfish and Cornbread" and it looks awesome. Any must do's?
We plan to go to Savanah for a day, but other than that we don't have any plans. We are just going exploring.

    Thanks

    Enjoy your stay Dorothy.

We're a month behind you and can't wait to get back. I'll have to look up Roastfish and Cornbread. Not familiar with that one.

    Have some cookies for us!

Good to hear about your trip at HHI, Dorothy. Now that you are buying into HHI, you might get an occasional stay in the other buildings, although I think there are only 5 other buildings that have studios or one bedrooms. I think those buildings are the same ones that have the GVs if I'm remembering correctly what the CM at HHI's reception desk told us. Good luck to Guy on his race. The weather sounds beautiful. Happy Thanksgiving!

Gordon recommended Roastfish and Cornbread-it's on the road to Old Oyster Factory.
I just had 2 cookies. I wanted more but gotta save my appetite for Salty Dog. That's lunch afte Guy's run. Oh-the turkey trot can be 5K or 10K. Guy's doing the 5K.
