I can't decide. Just when I think I know, I can't commit to the answer. I can't name a favorite park either.

On Facebook today the questions from Disney was
Walt Disney World
You get a Disney park all to yourself today - which do you choose?
Reading through the comments no one picked the Animal Kingdom do you think that is odd

Not one person chose AK, that is surprising. Dorothy (simbas mom, who LOVES AK), go to facebook immediately, your voice must be heard!

My answer would be MK.

I think I'm having trouble choosing on this one. AK all to myself, wow. I think the crowds is what I have have problems with at both AK and Epcot. The heat always seems to get to me at both parks.
But at the moment I think I'd pick DHS as my two favorite rides are there, TSM and TOT. And maybe by then Star Tours would be open too.
Now if only Big Thunder and Expedition Everest were both at DHS I'd be one happy camper!

Thanks, Mar, but I confess that I think that if I could have a park to myself for a day, it wouldn't be AK. Shocking, I know. I think I'd choose MK. That's because my love for AK is in the wandering around, not so much the rides, and I can do that when other people are around. And during EMH, sometimes I DO feel like I've got the park to myself, since I don't ride EE, where most of the people are. But MK seems busy all the time-standing in line for the MK Bakery, standing in line for PP Flight, standing in line for.....
So I think that's the one I'd like to have to myself, so I wouldn't have to stand in lines.

I'd go Epcot. Ever since I was little my favorite rides were (old-school) Figment and Norway. So much so that I've only ever called them what I did since I was a kid. Now with Soarin' (which is my adult-favorite) - I could truly be happy there!

This may sound strange, but I'm not sure I'd want to have a Park all to myself. I enjoy people watching, and I always like watching little kids interact with the Princesses and characters. It would be nice walking right on to TSM, ToT, or EE, but part of the enjoyment of these rides is listening to the screams of delight (or terror) of my fellow passengers. When we went to MNSSHP last month, we rode the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction and we had a boat all to ourselves, and we rode Big Thunder RR four times in a row without getting off the train!. Sure, it was nice walking right on an attraction, but Disney is more fun when you can share it with others.

Was it during YoAMD that they were giving prizes of a "private" late entry for you and so many of your guests?
I am sure they awarded that prize to more than one person just to make it cost effective.
That is what I would want, rather than all of myself. I would want some people there to share the park with.
Which one would I pick....not sure.
If it were decorated for Christmas, I might pick DHS and camp out in the back with the Christmas lights and the music.
EPCOT, when we do late entry there and get a margarita and sit on the bench in Norway staring out at the water, we feel like we have the park to ourselves.
Although, if it were decorated for Christmas and the lighted arch was back...I would want to be there.
MK goes without saying. When DVCNews gathering did the rope drop at MK I realized the advantage of no lines.
As you can see, I would need to be greedy as I can not decide.

I'm in similar shape- there are things I like at all the parks (even AK, but I so rarely have line issue there and have always gotten into FotLK and Nemo when I've tried that I doubt I'd pick it), but I'd have to go MK I think. Then I might actually ride Peter Pan again if it didn't have a line for a change!

Having no else in the park (other than maybe DW and friends or family if they were traveling with us- but I'm used to spending parts of park days solo when DW is back in the room, so that'd be OK too!) would be kind of interesting and might be fun in it's own right.
