It appears we finally have a release date for one of the Disney Vacation Club exclusive Vinylmation figurines.

Do we know where it will be sold at WDW? The article says "D" street in Disneyland, but does not mention the WDW location. I sure hope it's not DTD, as I never go there, but I have a feeling that's where it will be. Fingers crossed that I am wrong and it will be sold somewhere in the parks or at resorts.

It will be sold at "D-Street" at both WDW and DL. D-Street is located in Downtown Disney at both resorts.

Oh duh me, I guess you can tell I wasn't lying when I say I hardly ever go to DTD.

Well that's no shocker, just as I suspected. What a PITA to have to travel to DTD just to get this, I really dislike when stuff is only sold there. I do like this figure though, and it is very rare for me to be on property when something I actually want is released, so I will probably make the trek. I hope they still have some available, as I arrive on the 29th.

I hope so as well. This vinylmation figurine is the first one I've even been interested in. I have to admit that the other two designs are not grabbing me the way this does.

I'll be super bummed if this is limited to only D-Street...We have about 20+ vinyls and really wanted this one but we won't even be @ a D-Street location until Mid-December . Maybe I'll get lucky and they will put them on their Disney Parks Store website....

Usual blindbox vinyl's are $9.95 but these special edition tins end up in the range of $11.95-$15.95

Don't dispair. You might be able to buy this limited edition vinylmation through Walt Disney World Merchandize Guest Services. Their phone number is 407.363.6200 and is on any receipt you have from a WDW Disney store. Last year, we ordered a limited edition DVC pin through them. We purchased the pin over the phone and had to fax a copy of our DVC membership card. Of course, its a lot cheaper and faster to buy the item in person, but at least there is a way to buy limited edition items through the mail/telephone. Good luck!!
