DVC schedules another Doorway to Dreams event in Chicago

Next week Disney Vacation Club will be hosting another in its series of "Vacation as You Wish" presentations in conjunction with the Woodfield Mall Doorway to Dreams sales center.

The Arie Crown Theater at McCormick Place in Chicago has 4,249 seats.

There will be 6 sessions for DVC members and 5 sessions for prospective members. That's a total of 11 sessions in the huge 4,249-seat theater.

That seems like an awful lot of capacity!

Yet even though I'm a DVC member, live only 20 miles from McCormick Place, and the events begin next week, I haven't seen anything official about it.

And there's no word about it on the Events tab of the official Chicago-area Doorway to Dreams website.

We have not recieved an invite to the Doorway to Dream event at the mall as yet, but have so for a DVC event down-town at the Arie Crown Theatre (McCormick Place) - same event??? See below. We are going only because the events at the store have become stale. When the location first opened they use to have some great gifts even a trip for one lucky guest. Now they only zero in on potential new members. With that said however we are attending the event down on the lakeshore only out of curiousity due to the location, though my guess is that they will push the new DVC location in Hawaii.
