Looking forward to seeing you all! By then, it'll have been over 2 years since we've gotten together with all of you...Cross fingers for me
Registering this weekend. Along with Goofy for us both. If anyone hears a loud explosion, it's my CC blowing up. I can't get over what a bargain OUC is for what you get---and what highway robbery Goofy is. But as a lamb to slaughter there I go down there, griping the whole way.

    Okay let's talk shoes.......

Lisa, how are the Vibrams coming along? Thinking of getting some sprints for light drills and around town errands, slowly working my way up to recovery runs in them. Or should I get Nike Frees and start there, and forget the vibrams.

Nono, what do you run in again? I lost my 10 lbs that was required before I allowed myself to step down in shoe. Between reading Born to Run and Brain Training, I think this may be the ticket out of injuries.

Thanks Craig, but I might have to turn the job offer down sometimes I have no luck..The money has the potential to be great! But due to the situation we're in, I cant wait for the money to be great, I need it now..I'd have to find my own clients, I dont mind hard work, but we'd be pretty broke until I had clients...I havent turned it down yet, but I think thats the direction it's going.

Anyway,Monday I started back w/week 2of C25K, it went alright, but it had been awhile, yesterday I did treadmill for 30 min, and today is rest day

Roz - Congrats on the almost PR adn the AG place!!!

Craig - Holy cow! That was quite the swim! I've never gone further than 1500m. Way to go! Hope you are healing well!

CB - Hope that foot continues to get better!

My running still sucks. Swimming and bike are going well, though. have an olympic distance tri this weekend. No more flubs allowed. Really need to nail this one if I don't want to spend teh enxt month freaking about my half iron.

Thanks! Toe is doing much better I'm glad to say. And 1700 yards from a few days ago is only 1,554.48 meters, so not much more than yours if I did the conversions right...

Good luck with your running and the tris!!!

Hey everyone...glad to see everyone's doing well (for the most part!).

I haven'te been able to run in a week because of knee issues. Saw the ortho on Monday and he said my plica is reforming..which basically means I'll need to get my knee scoped again at some point. For now he did a cortizone injection and said "stay off it for a week and see how it is." So I'll tell you guys next monday how it goes! Until then I hope everyone has a great weekend!! (besides it's waaaaay too hot up here to run)

Sending pixie dust to everyone re injuries and financial woes.

I saved my house, at least temporarily, yesterday, so today decided to celebrate with tennis. OMG am I sore...my toes are killing me (have to wear shoes) and my hip joint ouch and oh, I think I went for a backside overhead and pulled my shoulder out. Honestly, I had to go home and go to sleep for a few hours. Will be sure to take some glucosamine and aspirin tonight and will be all better in the a.m. but jeez, hate being so out of tennis shape. So how did I do? First set was pretty dang good, second, the worst I think I've ever played and the third/fourth was just average. Didn't use sunblock, bad me, but only singed my arms.
