nono- AWESOME! Congrats.

Still nothing on the tri results!
I e-mailed the RD about 15 minutes ago; at the event they said Monday, participant packet said "by the following Tuesday" (they have one or more in various cities every Sunday over a roughly 2 month period it looks like) and, uh, now it's Wednesday!!!
My cold (or whatever) just doesn't want to quit. I was doing better so I went out and tried the new shoes for 1.95 miles Monday night. Good first impression!
Unfortunately, it seemed kinda' chilly and my ears started bothering me on the way back. I woke up feeling pretty dizzy and with a headache, and I felt a lot worse whenever I moved around so I called off from work, got some extra sleep, and sat on the couch pretty much all afternoon... It's sunny again for the moment and I want to get out and enjoy it SOON!
I was also wondering about MM; I just checked and her profile shows "Last Activity: 03-15-2010 06:00 AM"...-Craig

Well, I'm ready to run again, but Mr Nono has scheduled such a week (socially) that it isn't going to happen today. I guess one more day won't kill me.
Next goal: drop the weight. Seriously. Until I start running 60 mile weeks (unlikely), I need to start eating like I'm running 30 mile weeks. And to think math, when I'm not running
, is my strong suit.

Well, within the last hour the second of three Indoor Tris from March 28th have results posted online, BUT CLEVELAND STILL DOES NOT!
It's interesting that I saw two reviews on Active.com that also complained about the bike calibrations, so at least I wasn't alone in that. But if anything that makes me want to know even more what the spread was!

DW started couch to 5k on the 'mill this morning!
I'm certainly proud of her.
Had to share it on her behalf; hopefully she doesn't mind...
STILL no results for my indoor tri, nor a reply to my e-mail!!! I'll just keep checking; someday I hope.
I ran 2.95 miles last night. My running is in the pits; averaged 11:48 pace and my shines / ankles started bothering me a tad, so after the first mile or so I switched to run 2 min. walk 1 min. Felt better with that at least! While E was on the 'mill I banged out 150 crunches (hadn't done any since March 22nd; didn't want to risk pulling something in my side before the tri like the issue I had last summer. PROBABLY not related to crunches at all, but why chance it?) and did 30 min. on the ellip. Felt pretty good with both of those at least, so perhaps there is still hope!
Weight was 244.0 this AM though; I liked the 237.? I had last week much better... So, count me in on the weight loss thing. I was running a lot better when I was about ~25 pounds lighter last year!
I need to concentrate on sticking to a daily exercise schedule AND watching my diet most days of the week and not being TOO crazy on my off days (like "game night" every other week). But, I did it before so I'll do it again- think positive and JUST DO IT, right? Hey, Nike sold a lot of stuff with that slogan, worked for them...

Just checking in to say hello, I have been so busy, between my stressful job, and trying to finish my Travel Agent classes (I got an extention) I haven't had a lot of free time.
Question about whats goin on during my walks-during the entire Princess Half, i never got a cramp in my side.
During my training for the Princess I would start to get them about mile 8, wasnt hydrating. But I was hydrated for the princess itself.
However! Every single walk since I've been back from that trip, I get a cramp in my side about 15-20 minutes in
What the heck?
Doesnt happen on the treadmill, but I much prefer to be outsisde.
Today is my last day of the post recovery training (lost some time because of the bad toe) doing 4 miles....Whats the key to not getting the cramp
drink a lot of water before? I dont usually do that and it's not an isssue.
And I want to thank Gail
thank you so much for providing me w/all the training plans. I sure couldnt have evebn thought about the Princess half without a program like that.
I start C25K a week from Monday
