Attention Porncess runners.....I went on the site last night and there is an announcement that the race time has changed to 6:30.
Carrie....do they let you know when they put the course map on the site or do we just have to keep checking?

Gail - No idea when they will put up a map. They may e-mail those who have signed up and let us know. If you jus look at teh full marathon course and start it at teh race track, though, that will be the course.
Yay for an extra half hour sleep when we lose an hour that night.

Ooh, I love the delayed start time!!!! Way to go, Gail, on getting a Garmin too. Love that shirt; are you gonna have it made? That is so terrific about your time; I am thrilled to hear it!!!!!!!!!

When is your birthday, nono, time to start dropping big hints? Isn't it funny how those workouts we don't want to do make us feel great?! Running is my drug

Lisa

Thanks Lisa........don't think I'm going to get the shirt made cause I don't think it's worth the $25.00 they want for it. I was thinking about getting some button pins at the craft store and putting it on them for our Team Peacock. Have to see if I can find a good peacock picture to put on there with it.

Okay, so with a 0630 start, what time is a good time be up and at the start? I'll be driving my own car, so no worries about transportation. Er, another question, where will parking be? I'll have the Escape and I bet we can squeeze all of us staying at OKW in there for whoever doesn't want to take the bus.
My LR is done for today-- 6.5 miles. Just doesn't seem right even typing it. It's just so hard to believe I ran that far! My knees did start talking to me at the end, I don't know how much more I could have done.

Tell your knees to SHUT UP!

Have you tried any supplements? I know quite a few folks who've found the glucosomine (sp?) to help. My bones don't hurt, but my "hydrolic fluid" in my knees sure makes a lot of noise if I do stairs after a long run. I find that high quality fish oil makes a big difference in keeping me running smoothly. I think it's a combination of the anti-inflammatory properties, and just general lubing at work.
Lisa, I have a Garmin 201. Until it dies, no birthday gift for me! My birthday gift is my Nov. trip to WDW. My birthday's that week, as is Mr Nono's.

WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO ROZ!!!

6.5 miles, that is great!!! You are going to be soooooooooo ready for the ToT race. I was thinking about not going out today since I didn't have a rest day this week but I did. Did three mile, didn't want to push it and then I went out with my son, DIL, DIL's parents and of course grandkids for my birthday dinner and DIL's father's birthday. I got a gift certificate for The Running Place.
Yea, now I can get some stuff for the colder weather.
Roz, I don't have any idea about what time to get up and ready for the race or where to park. We'll have to wait for the Disney race experts to chime in on this one.
nono...we'll have to get together and Jen & Scott also to celebrate your's & hubby's birthdays.
