I was in wdw yesterday and since im on shift at the fire dept today I decided to do my long run yesterday and what better motivation than to run around Disney. I was staying at okw for just one night and wanted to just relax on thursday when I got there, so I just spent the day in the pool. I ended up doing 7.76 miles which ended being 2 trips back and forth from okw to ssr after I found the trail from okw to ssr by the LBV golf course. I didn't even take water with me, didn't fuel the day before and I didn use anything in between the run. I felt a little fatigue at the end but I pushed through it and run fast for the last 5:1 interval. Disney gave me that push!

Maturod - I have also heard that they do a 5k on castaway cay. Sounds like a blast, if hot.

I did Castaway Cay 5k last October. It was really fun! I'm jealous they are doing medals now, since I doubt we will actually go on our fantasy cruise in February. I also ran on the TM on the Dream. I wouldn't recommend running on the deck--its wet and full of slow walkers.
I'm continuing to run really well. Rocking out the speedwork and feeling better with every run. Ready for Wildwood
Beth--I love weather so much, they call me the cloudnut :-D

John you look GREAT!

I have been hanging in there and finally this morning made my pre-FL fall of the wagon weight. That took almost 2 weeks to make up for 3 days of insanity. Maybe I will remember that next time I want to self medicate with food. Knowing me though, I will always fall of the wagon.
Important thing is I get right back on, not allow myself to wallow in bloatville.
Training is going well, finally getting some decent mileage. Nono told me once that the magic starts happening at 40+ mpw. My body is agreeing with that right now.
I am in FULL Olympic mode. I can't watch enough. Heck I am even watching women's basketball right now. I never, ever watch basketball. I may die from anticipation for the Women's marathon.

Thanks Roz-
I'm about 15 lbs heavier than my low, but body fat % is lower now than it was then. I'm still working out 3-4 days a week. Trying to get back on the cardio track. Thinking about running, but still worry about the hip.
We thought about you all passing through Mobile -- one of these days we are coming to eat.
Hang in there -- I'm sure you are harder on yourself than you need to be.John
