Next trip, Dave and I will take Coop to lunch at Marakesh......
He\'ll know what to do with his next belly dancer.
Don\'t be surprised though if he asks for his allowance in $1.00 bills from then on.

Had a wonderful, fun-filled, laugh-filled and also relaxing trip to the BWV\'s. I was anxious to see all my DVC bud\'s and who do I run into in the BWV\'s lobby but Mar! Lots of hugs and shes the best Welcome Committee ever! Nothing like starting off a trip with a smile!
We didnt get into our room till about 6pm after being told that it was -almost ready..only about 15 more minutes- at 2:30. I called dh who was waiting at the BWV\'s and much to my surprise when I asked what he was doing he told me just hanging out with Ron and Kathy! LOL! Too funny as my dh has never met Ron or Kathy before but they recognized Coop from the Dec. meet! Sorry about figment Kathy- any luck finding one yet??? anywhoo- made great use of the Community Hall and had a really nice lunch at Marrakesh. Our first time there! DS was a little bit shy around the belly dancer (dh wasnt though!) as he told me later he didnt want to look as he thought her pants were going to fall off!
DH went to DTD that eve and picked up some Earl of Sandwiches- Yumm...Roast beef with Brie!
Early bird the next morning- 5 am I\'m out on the balcony and lo and behold what was 3 inches from my foot- A FROG! No, it wasn\'t Tony. Screamed bloody murder for dh who was my knight in shining armor and that sucker went for a ride off the 3rd floor. After I recovered, we took off to AK for EMH. Flights of Wonder was great as usual and my family just rolled their eyes at me again as I burst into tears when they brought out the American Eagle. Oh! On our way to AK I saw the Owners Locker van from the bus- the people on the bus must have thought I was completely nuts as I was so surprised to see it. That afternoon I met Mar and we walked over to MGM to meet a friend for lunch at the Brown Derby. I have never taken the walk to MGM and it was really nice and relaxing! Great lunch (as usual) of Cobb Salad and wonderful company, Later that ever we all went over to France to Meet John for his first Owners Locker meet. NICE and is always a pleasure to see John! DH went with the gang to Jellys and had a GREAT time (I guess hes not telling!!)
Wed was MK day- Was there for opening- We did CoP (cried again), tiki birds for the first time in years, POTC, HM, PP flight, Buzz, space, Big thunder, TTA had lunch at Pinocchios and we were outta there by at least noon. Ahhh...l I love going early!
Thursday was Spoodles Bloody Mary breakfast morning! I did a toast to ya Roz! Then we headed over to Epcot for the Behind the Seeds tour. DH was expecting it to be boring but it was GREAT. Super cm Heather was friendly with lots of info. Great tour for kids as its not too long 1 ½ tops and lots of interaction for them like releasing lady bugs, feeding the Tilapia, hands on exibits.

They have a plant there called the Mimosa Pudica -the sensitive plant- This plant is just soooo cool!
Its leaves fold up when you touch it and droops. Then a few minutes later it reopens. I was able to find them in Mexico for sale and picked a few up to bring home (and for Coops classroom) Then it was off to Coral Reef for lunch. Pam did a wonderful job (you little coordinator you! Thank you!) at arrainging all of us (18!) to sit pretty much together- We had very cool personal menus with our pics on them (will try to scan one and post) and a diver came to the huge tank window. I had the pleasure of being seated with Mr. And Mrs. Viking. Like I posted earlier my ds has a new hero and heroine.

That eve I decided to surprise ds for a dinner of the Kitchen Sink. Oh it was GREAT! He was sooo surpised- hee-hee the poor kid hasnt asked for ice cream since!
We also tried Fantasia Gardens for the first time- DS has never played but is VERY familiar with baseball so it took a bit to convince him not to hit it like a baseball.:scared: Missed Arlo Guthrie that night with Mar and John (Sorry!)
Hit DHS last day- Always have to see OMD- Stayed for the film (yep- you guessed it! Cried again!) I am always so sad that so many people just by pass this and the theatre is so empty.
Met Marilyn for a Roller Coaster Meltdown and gave each other last hugs. Heard from Carrie as we were going to have a quickie meet but she was having trouble with the Car rental- Bummer-
All in all a great trip with lots of fun meets- I even surprised Pam, Tom, Marilyn and the Vikings and joined them at 10pm one night and I WASNT in my jammies!

LOL Laura, I read \"DHS\" over and over again, wondering what High School made you cry. I am such a dork! Wonder how long before I finally realize the name is changed. I agree though, the film at the end is just awesome, I try to see it once a year. Gives me the goosebumps thinking about the music.
Sounds like a awesome trip, I hate I missed seeing everyone together. What a fun group we have! Thanks again for the toast, I feel so special.

I CAN\'T BELIEVE HE ATE THE WHOLE THING!!!!!!
(tho I\'m pretty sure he had a little help)
Sounds like you did a lot of things AND met up with lots of folks.
I\'m hungry for a Cobb salad..it\'s been a LONG time. Even tho it won\'t be a brown derby I plan on having one for my mother\'s day lunch.
Where is a picture of the room and balcony. Thought you might have one of Mar looking over her balcony down at you!
You didn\'t mention Wishes or Illuminations making you cry, but I know you did!!!!
(We are definitely sisters in that regard)
Glad you had fun my friend...sounds like a really calm family trip.
