In 2010 Disney will introduce tiered seasonal pricing for the Disney Dining Plan.* However, according to Disney Vacation Club members will be exempt from paying the higher prices being charged to most cash guests.

Nice they are exempting us, although in 2010 it shouldn't matter to me; I'm going to be trying to milk every cent I can out of my TIW card!

This is good news! A lot of times, people (including myself) feel as DVC members we don't get to share in the perks offered to cash guests like when they're offered the DDP for free. So it's nice that as DVC members, we won't be affected by increased peak prices.

i wonder what the pricing will be for non-DVC members staying on points. my brother and his future wife will be staying at AKV for their honeymoon on my points in June, so I wonder if they will have to pay the premium price or the DVC price since they are staying on points and not a cash stay.

I'm not a dining plan user, but I'm happy for those of you DVCers that use it.
