Food and Wine demos if under 21

In case anyone besides me wondered how they handle culinary demonstration participants who are under 21,I finally found out. I went to a culinary demonstration the other day where there were two children at our table. They give the parents the child's wine. So the parents get an extra glass. At first they thought one of the kids was mine and tried to give me her glass. Darn that honesty!

Wondering if you advance paid your ticket to the food demos you did?
We are doing two next week that are prepaid. I imagine there's probably not much room left for those without prepaid tickets?
