DTD is quiet in the mornings, especially weekdays. Except during the Christmas shopping season.
Most of the cars you'll see there are off property guests jumping on buses or walking to TL.

How's DTD on Saturday morning? – 08-19-2009,04:03 PM
I would expect that during the afternoon and evening, DTD gets very busy. But how busy is it if I go shortly after 9:30 am, with plans to be out of there by around noon? Is first thing on a Saturday morning pretty busy or are the locals still sleeping?
We stayed Aug. 8 -15th and both Saturdays we went the afternoon was extremely busy. I noticed that if you arrive early, like when they open, its not bad.Jan. 1996 Carribean Beach Resort

Going in the am hours is definately better. We get busier as the day progresses. WOD is probably always busy...1974 - 1983 WDW day trips*1992 WDW off site*1994 WDW Contemporary*1997 WDW off site *1997 WDW Polynesian*1998 DL PAC*1999 DLH*2000 WDW Coronado/Port Orleans*2001 WDW off site*2002 DLH*2002 WDW Happy Haunts Ball*2003 WDW Riverside*2003 WDW Happy Haunts Ball*2004 Moved to Orlando*2006 DVC Member*2006 DLR*2007 DVBR*2007 OKW*2007 VWL*2008 GCH*2009 BLT*2009 AKV*2010 OKW*2010 SSR*2010 DLP DLH*2011 BLT*2011 AKL/Kidani*2012 BWV
Sounds like my best bet is to plan to be there right when the stores open. I guess my biggest concern with the crowds is getting my Sundae at Ghiardelli's for lunch. Hopefully if I plan on having lunch there around 11:30 am, it won't be too crowded. There can't be too many of us planning to eat a sundae there at 11:30 am (a sundae for lunch-but of course!)
