Breakfast at BWV and BCV –
11-22-2008,12:52 PM
Hi everyone! I am less than 2 weeks away from the first stays at BWV and BCV. For breakfast, I prefer to eat before I get to the park and I would rather not have a sit down meal. I tend to eat danish, bagels, etc. (Really healthy!
) So, what are my options at BWV and BCV?

If you don't want to leave the resort you can go to the Bellvue lounge at BWV for a limited selection of pastries in the morning.
If you want more choices you can walk over to Boardwalk Bakery, it's right there on the Boardwalk. The pastries from Belvue come from the bakery, but you have a lot more to choose from when you actually go to the bakery. I get my breakfast from there most every morning of my vacation, there's a lot of variety and every single thing is delicious. Baked right on the premises too! Here's a link to the menu (from allears.net):

BCV has a place called Beach Club Marketplace for "grab and go" type eating. The only thing I have personally experienced was a really yummy sandwich for lunch, so perhaps someone else can chime in with the low down on breakfast foods. But here's the menu if you want to check it out:

Only two more weeks? You must be getting psyched!

The Boardwalk Bakery sounds great! That sounds like a plan for BWV.
Now I just need a plan for BCV. And no, I don't think that I am going to want to walk over to BW for breakfast.

Plus, the Beach Club Marketplace has gelato! (which, you may not want for breakfast, but it is very affordable and great for a light dessert)
Sophia: “The race was underway. I start off slow. I’m cagey, like a panther, but when the time is right I pounce! The crowd is on its feet: ‘Sophia! Sophia!’ I could see the finish line; it was only 200-300 yds away. And then, it happened—what every runner dreads. I hit the wall.”
Dorothy: “Ah, ma, you ran out of steam?”
Sophia: “No, I actually hit a wall. They put up a new Wendy’s on Collins Ave.”
