1,000 Points Threshold

I feel like I have passed some strange threshold today. I added on another 100 points at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. No big deal. Except… I now am the proud owner of 1,000 DVC points!

I’m not so sure why reaching the 1,000 points threshold seems like a big deal to me. I mean, it’s only 100 points more than when I had 900 DVC points yesterday.

In any event, I’m still a happy and very satisfied DVC member who is thrilled that I get to spend so much time at my favorite vacation spot in the world – Walt Disney World – and that I get to stay at my favorite resorts.

Ah yes, but a different person at DVC said the threshold was at 500 points and a third said 250.

I live in North Carolina, and it's about an 8.5 hour drive. This enables us to not have to worry about the cost of airfare.
