As of February 11, they have already raised the cost 20% from $20 to $25. How high will it go?

Probably as high as they can go. But then if the costs gets too high, you are using the Lyft app to order a Minnie Van, so I can see people just ordering a Lyft ride if they don't want to pay the Minnie Van price.

However, we really enjoyed the two Minnie van rides we did in December we were both pretty and didn't feel like transferring buses nor walking back to BLT after taking a bus to MK from Kidani Village after spending hours at Animal Kingdom before an unscheduled late lunch at Sanaa. We waited only 5 minutes or less for each of our rides. Since the drivers are Cast Members it is pretty easy to get them talking to you and interesting to hear about their careers. Also they often know little tidbits about WDW that they are happy to share. It was definitely and enjoyable ride versus one where the driver knows nothing about Disney including the quickest routes and avoiding construction when possible.

Our taxi fare was $20 plus tip from AKL to BLT. The taxi driver did
complain about the mini vans taking his rides!

At $20 per ride, we were thinking that we MAY at some point take advantage of the Minnie Vans just for the convenience of, say, being dropped off at the MK bus area vs the TTC. At $25 per ride, we're now thinking we probably won't. $50/round trip is just too steep. Disappointed at the preferred parking price increase too. Yes, it's a small increase, but it's that little difference between handing them a $20 bill vs having to fish out more money.

FYI: If I'm not mistaken, the Lyft app requires that you do an electronic payment for the Minnie Van Service. You don't use cash to pay for the ride.

Also, several people -- myself included -- have received discounts on the Lyft app when signing up for the Minnie Van Service. When we used the Service in December 2017, we received $5 off each of our rides.

Thanks for the discount tip. Yes, I know the Minnie Vans only take e-payments. I was referring to the preferred parking increase for resort guests - from $20/day to $23. Odd number.

Default Expansion of Minnie Van Service Now Open to all Visitors to WDW

Here is the article from the Disney Parks Blog. I have to wonder how it will affect wait times.

Minnie Van Service Now Open to all Visiting Walt Disney World Resort

by Thomas Smith, Editorial Content Director, Disney Parks

Last summer we shared news of the new Minnie Van transportation service available at Walt Disney World Resort. Today, we’re excited to share that the service is now available for everyone at Walt Disney World Resort, through the Lyft app.
The service offers a comfy and convenient way for guests to travel to and from our theme parks, to dining reservations at our resort hotels, family gatherings, shopping sprees at Disney Springs and much more in a jiffy.
The private vans are roomy, comfortable and usually only minutes away. Each driver is a friendly Disney Cast Member trained to take you where you need to be—safely and with a smile.
How does it work? Just download the Lyft app on your mobile device, open it from anywhere at Walt Disney World Resort and select the Minnie Van service option. Then, follow the steps below:

    • Confirm your current pickup location.
    • Enter your Walt Disney World Resort destination and tap “Request.”
    • The app will display a map tracking the vehicle en route and give you an identifying vehicle number to help you spot your car.

With Lyft, you can request your ride from your smartphone and pay right through the app. The new Minnie Van service is an easy and friendly way to whisk your family off to the magic!

The service is available between 6:30 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. (Hours subject to change.)
