Based on the map showing the new hotelís location it appears to surround part of the Disneyland Hotel. Perhaps that is why there are only 5 or 6 floors on the new hotelís buildings. The design looks like something out of the 50s. i canít wait see what it really looks like and hear more details regarding the design and the interior.

Disneyland really could use more DVC rooms so I hope they will make one of those buildings a DVC resort.

I'll miss ESPN Zone. I've honestly probably ate & drank in that place like 50 times through the years. But the new Splitsville will pick up the sports bar theme for me, and the new hotel looks fascinating.

Does it seem insane to anyone else that they'd dismantle ESPN zone? especially since they own ESPN? I know if they got rid of the one at the BWV in WDW I'd miss it.

I think ESPN has been a financial drain on Disney profits, especially the ESPN Zones. Very few made profits lately.

For MANY years - up until the last 2 - 3 - ESPN has been a major cash cow for Disney. I don't know is the ESPN Zone in DL was pulling it's weight or not, but ESPN covered most of the losses by ABC.
