    It's not gouging, it's the gas futures market.

    The Gulf Coast has a dozen or so refineries shut down that provide the gas to the southern states. Right now, my company is hauling gas out of Ohio terminals and taking it to Texas. That pretty much jumps delivery expense up about 10 fold.

    Gas has already leveled off and will drop once the refineries reopen.

    The Colonial Pipeline is also operating at reduced capacity for totally unrelated issues.
