Geyser Point looks great. We'll be at Boulder Ridge for 10 days starting in late March, so we definitely plan on trying out Geyser Point.

I wonder if you'll be able to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks while sitting at the Geyser Point bar?

We will be there in 41 days! I think it looks great.

I am glad to hear that you can order food and drinks while sitting in covered area. It looks like the padded chairs are covered in umbrella outdoor fabric, so since they are water proof they should handle any food spills too.

I am so excited about this because everything about this seems unique and unlike anything else I have seen at WDW. Planning on being back to Wilderness in March of 2018, so by then everything should be done and I can't wait to tour a cabin...could this result in my first add-on?

I think Disney is smart to open Geyser Point before sales begin for Copper Creek. Disney can showcase Geyser Point and get people interested in staying at Wilderness Lodge. Once sales begin, I can imagine the DVC Guides walking prospective buyers around Wilderness Lodge, showing off a villa and a cabin, and then walking them through Geyser Point.

Disney has probably learned its lesson from the way it rolled out the Polynesian. The Oasis Pool is a nice addition to the Poly, but Disney start work on the remodeling of the former East pool until after the resort opened. Even Trader Sam's, a very unique bar, wasn't open when DVC sales started for the Poly. Not having these amenities open right way probably put a damper on Poly sales for the first few months.

This place looks right up our alley. We are headed down March 4th with our daughter's family and may not make it over there. BUT, we are headed back down in July as well and will definitely check it out. We will be staying BLT in March and Contemporary in July so it will be very convenient for both visits.
