If Disney would put a walkway (Bridge) or some type of Skyway transport to EPCOT I probably wouldn't stay anywhere else. That's the only reason I pay the extra to stay at BWV or BCV. OKW has the best room layouts of all the resorts and especially the studios. Almost like staying at a 1-bedroom anywhere else.

The two bedroom villas seem huge. They give a large room for a laundry room which is nice for storage. We really like OKW. Very nice main pool also. Nice views of the golf courses. We were able to park right outside our room which was very conveinent. We took the boat to Downtown Disney. We will be staying there again as the value for points is great.

I'd love to stay there, all the rooms look huge, and I also like the floor plan. Our October trip we are hoping from BWV still have some waiting to do, maybe this might be a good fall back to just try it out.

I have to admit that OKW just wasn't for us. I'm still not sure why. I think that the studio we stayed in was a factor, no view except of trees and extra tall shrubs (we were told we got a water view???). Also we were unlucky to get one of the few Studios that did not have a window in addition to the door to the small balcony. It just seemed claustrophobic despite the extra footage. Also we stayed in the Turtle Pond area and it seemed we walked to go everywhere. The thing that still surprises me the most is that even the ice machines were at the bus stop. We were lucky in that regard since the bus stop was down three flights and across the street. But since it was pouring buckets of rain, it still seemed like it was a far away. The one thing I really missed was the couch. I prefer to sit on a couch versus a bed when relaxing after a day in the parks. Thank goodness DVC has a real variety of resorts.

If the only DVC option continued to be Key West, we would've continued staying at the moderates because they offer the same service in regards to parking and transportation. While the size of the room is larger and a kitchenette is nice, the balconies are very small with high railings and the placement of the kitchenette between the only closet and the bathroom entrance becomes problematic if there's more than 2 adults in the space - even then.

I've only stayed in studios at Key West. It's nice but it's not a reason to join DVC. It is relaxing environment and a great location for off-site vacationing. It's also the only venue that Dan is constantly out the room door staring at the parking lot.

Default Extra Bathroom in 3 bedroom Grand Villa

It shows on the map but is not mentioned in the list of what is included. There is a 3rd guest bath just off the entrance to the Master bedroom. It has a sink toilet and shower which is great when you have 12 people staying. Those sleeping on the couch don't have to bother anyone.

What is your opinion of the Grand? We are scheduled to stay in one at Saratoga this May, but the thought of staying at OKW Grand sounds intriguing. Do you have a great view? Is it ground floor entry? Are there Grands in every area (Turtle Pond, in particular?).

Default We will do it again

I can't really speak to exactly where all the 3 bedrooms are located and the view can vary between units. Our unit started on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator in most OKW buildings. We were in either building 22 or 23 I think, with a view of a pond and the golf course. The only short coming in most 3 bedrooms is that you can sleep 12, but the dining table only seats 8. OKW has the biggest space for the fewest points and are sometimes hard to get.
