Disney's Armed Forces Salute Military Discount Has Been Extended through 30 September 2013

The information below was released by an ITT Office and started spreading around the internet on 2 August. They were not supposed to release the info as Disney has not made their official press release. Which my contact at WDW Media Relations tells me will be mid-week (week of 6 Aug).
My contact did however confirm that the below information is correct, but not complete.
HOT - Disney just began taking resort reservations with the new discount

    Armed Forces Salute Details

The details on the 2012 – 2013 Disney Military Salute are:
The offer runs through 30 September 2013.
The maximum number of theme park tickets per sponsor is six. However, Disney states exceptions should be made for immediate families larger than six people. For example, if a family has five children, Disney will allow all members of the family to purchase 4-Day Disney Military Promotion Tickets, for Mom, Dad, and the five kids.
4-Day Disney Military Promotion Tickets may be upgraded to add the Park Hopper® Option and Water Park Fun and More option. These options may be added any time prior to September 30, 2013. The no-expiration option is not available. Additional days may not be added to this ticket.

We used those tickets in 09 while DS was active duty Marine. He's now a disabled Veteran but not retired Veteran. Is he still able to puchase these tickets? He's going with us for the New grandbaby trip 10/2013. He's one reason I purchased DVC. So him and his family can go off my pts because he doesn't have much money due to his PTSD but don't get me started on that because I get angry as Hell. But anyway back to WDW. Is he eligible to purchase thoe tickets? He actually now has a civilian job on Randolph AFB which is right down the street from my home. I guest he can ask there.

    Thanks all and Semper Fi!

Hope this includes DL again. We could use that in 2013. We get APs for WDW so don't need them there anymore.

He should ask there. Shades of Green also allows DOD employees to take advantage of many discounts.

Good luck for your son Evil; I hope he (and MANY deserving others) can take advantage of the deal. I hope you can get some DL price relief too Steelers!
